Pathway Family Center Announces Today
2nd Phase of Strategic Growth Plan
Chesterton, Indiana —January 14, 2008
The Northwest Indiana Division of Pathway Family Center, announced today the second phase of it’s strategic growth plan opening larger offices at it’s newest location; 425 Sand Creek Drive – Suite C in Chesterton Indiana. Pathway Family Center has been providing substance abuse treatment for adolescents throughout the nation since 1993. Strong monetary community support from the Porter County Substance Abuse Council, the Community Action Drug Coalition, Porter County Commissioners, Superior Construction and two anonymous donors were the catalyst for Pathway to begin operations in June of 2007.
Mr. Dan Franz, Program Director for the Chesterton office stated, “the expanded Chesterton office will provide a larger, centralized location for families in Northwest Indiana and the Chicagoland area that are needing substance abuse services for adolescents .” The Northwest Indiana Pathway Board wishes to thank our local businesses and their management for the donation of materials, time and expertise in the construction of new offices. This includes; Gus Brown with BP Products North America, Michelle Greene of Allied Therapeutic Services, Theresa Valade with The Growth Coach, Ed Smith with Superior Construction Inc., Mark Markovich with Mark 1 Homes, Ken Williams with F.C. Tucker Commercial NW and Kramer & Leonard Office Products.
Pathway Family Center is a substance abuse treatment center for adolescents ages 10 to 21, providing drug screening, substance abuse assessment and referral, and our unique long-term treatment program. Pathway is a family-centered facility that focuses on teaching coping strategies, life skills and strengthening both individual and family relationships. Its dedicated staff of professionals are experts in substance abuse and behavioral problems. Pathway’s strategically located centers serve families in the Midwest with locations in Chesterton and Indianapolis IN; Southfield, Michigan; and Cincinnati, Ohio.
